Stoke City vs Tottenham Hotspur Preview

This may be a ‘must win’ for the North Londoners but a trip to Stoke is no holiday; Stoke are still in the hunt for a Europa league spot and so they have something to play for on Monday evening. However the home side have not won the last two games at the Britannia Stadium and must pull themselves together for this important match. Spurs have not fared well away from recently with one win in five – and that was at Aston Villa.

Stoke City (home)  DLWWL  1.19 1.12
Spurs (away)  DWLLD  1.69 0.81

Picks?

Bearing in mind that Spurs have to win there should be plenty of attacking action; Spurs will have plenty of possession so their midfielders will be important. Otherwise go for strikers from both sides.

Genclerbirligi vs Trabzonspor Preview

This is a mid-table clash between two teams with nothing left to play for in the Turkish league; the home team are without a win in two in the league but haven’t conceded more than one goal in a game in seven outings. Unfortunately they don’t score many either with an average of 1.21 per game at home. Trabzonspor are a couple of places higher than their hosts but have lost five of the last six on the road, rectifying that stat with a 1-0 win at Gaziantepsor on their last trip. They too rarely score more than one goal.
