Watford vs Everton Preview

Everton can’t quite get their season started so far but they earned a creditable draw against Manchester United last weekend and they have a trip to a stuttering Watford this weekend, Watford have lost their last two league games against teams they may have expected to fare better against and need to steady the ship. It’s a difficult match to predict but we’re inclined towards the low-scoring draw.

Picks?

If you are in need, go for strikers from either team – otherwise don’t bother.

Arsenal vs Stoke City Preview

This should be one of the homers in Saturday’s fixture list and Arsenal will  be looking to extend their unbeaten run and get back on level terms with Chelsea at the top of the league with a decent win. The Gunners have scored eight goals in their last two games and should have no problems sweeping aside a Stoke team who have won their last two but are not in the same class as Arsenal.

Picks?

Arsenal players from all positions.

Burnley vs Bournemouth Preview

Burnley are in the middle of a sticky patch at the moment after three straight defeats and that makes this home tie against mid-table Bournemouth vital; they need a draw at least to steady the ship and should be capable of that against a Cherries side who are excellent at home but more suspect on the road. Could be a 0-0.

Picks?

Defenders from both sides.

Hull City vs Crystal Palace Preview

Crystal Palace stopped their recent rot with a 3-0 win at home to Southampton last weekend which ended a run of six straight defeats. They now visit a struggling Hull team who are fighting hard but don’t look good enough to avoid relegation. We feel an away win is unlikely and perhaps a draw is the most likely outcome.

Picks?

Avoid players from this fixture.

Swansea City vs Sunderland Preview

This is another match from the bottom of the Premier League and a very important one for both teams; Swansea City host Sunderland at the Liberty Stadium and both teams have improved in relative terms in recent weeks. Swansea are the bookies favourites for the win and we’re inclined to agree with that although Jermain Defoe is always a reliable pick up front for the Black Cats.

Picks?

Swansea strikers and midfielders plus Defoe.

Leicester City vs Manchester City Preview

Leicester City need a confidence-building win on Saturday but it seems unlikely the’ll get it against a Manchester City who are third in the league and desperate to bounce back from a 3-1 defeat at home against Chelsea last weekend. This should be a regulation away win for City.

Picks?

Players from all positions from Manchester City.
