Manchester City vs Chelsea Preview
Just one point separates Manchester City and Chelsea at the top of the Premier League so this trip north by the league leaders is clearly the game of the weekend; City are unbeaten in six with three wins in that sequence but Chelsea have won seven on the trot, conceding just two goals. There’s no clear winner here for us and we may not see many goals but it should be an excellent game.
Don’t be too hasty about picking players from this match – there may not be too many points available.
Crystal Palace vs Southampton Preview
There are tough times for Crystal Palace with six defeats on the trot including that amazing last minute 5-4 defeat at Swansea last weekend. Southampton arrive in South London safely in mid-table and unbeaten in two but this disguises some patchy performances, especially away from home. Southampton are favourites for the win but we feel a draw is entirely possible.
Avoid defenders from this fixture but there should be some cheap options otherwise.
Stoke City vs Burnley Preview
Burnley have lost two matches on the trot and must now make the always-tough trip to Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium to play a team who have been beaten just once in eight after a very poor start to the season. Stoke now appear to be a creative team with a solid defence and this should be a straightforward home win.

Sunderland vs Leicester City Preview
Sunderland remain bottom of the league despite two wins in three games and on Saturday they face a Leicester team seemingly unable to recreate their title winning form of last season. The Foxes have lost two of the last three and those have been games they would expect to win so there is certainly something to worry about it here. It also makes a solid prediction for this match difficult although it’s worth noting that the bookies expect an away win.
Sunderland’s Jermain Defoe is generally a good pick but it may be best to avoid any others from this fixture.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Swansea City Preview
It’s been a patchy period of form for Spurs with just one league win the last six so this home game against 19th placed Swansea City looks like an ideal place to get back to winning ways. The Swans won a dramatic match 5-4 against Crystal palace last weekend so will be taking some confidence with them to White Hart Lane but this surely a win for Spurs.
Spurs players from all positions.
WBA vs Watford Preview
Both of these teams have looked solid in in recent weeks are currently occupy 9th and 8th positions respectively in the Premier League. West Brom look solid while Watford are certainly creative but the Hornets have lost two of the last four and their goal difference is poor. We’re going for a win for the home team but there could be goals for either side.
Midfielders and strikers from both teams.
West Ham vs Arsenal Preview
West Ham may not be in the relegation zone any more but they’re still not looking too clever down in 16th place and their form has improved only marginally since the bad days at the beginning of the season. A 1-1 draw at Manchester United was a decent result last weekend but now they have to cope with the visit of Arsenal who have lost just once in 13 games so far this season. This is a good candidate for an away win but no clean sheets.
