Bournemouth vs Sunderland Preview

Bournemouth’s form remains patchy but good enough currently to retain a mid-table place in the Premier League table; on Saturday they face a Sunderland team with just two points and surely destined for the drop, even at this early stage of the season. The Cherries haven’t scored in two games but will want to get back on track against a team who have conceded seven in three games.

Picks?

Bournemouth players from all positions, particularly defenders.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace Preview

Burnley are a tough team to beat, especially on their own turf and on Saturday they welcome Crystal palace to Turfmoor; both teams have 11 points so far and are a little too close to the relegation zone. Palace are on the back of a three game losing streak and will be desperate to end that run here but an away win seems unlikely – we fancy the draw or home win.

Picks?

No obvious picks here but there should be some cheap options if necessary.

Manchester City vs Middlesbrough Preview

After a scintillating win against Barcelona, Manchester City should be good value for another home win against 15th placed Middlesbrough; City need to avoid the after-the-Lord-Mayor’s-show syndrome but Pep Guardiola is good enough to make sure that doesn’t happen – expect a sizeable home win.

Picks?

Players from all positions from Manchester City

West Ham vs Stoke City Preview

These teams have turned their seasons around somewhat in recent weeks, managing to pull themselves away from the bottom reaches of the league in the process; Stoke have won three in a row and are unbeaten in five while West Ham have two wins from the last three. This is therefore a bit tricky to call and it could be a blood and thunder affair with an unpredictable end, especially in the Olympic Stadium. We’re going for a 1-1 draw.

Picks?

Avoid players from this fixture unless you need some cheap fillers.

Chelsea vs Everton Preview

Chelsea have won four games in a row after a dodgy patch while Everton won their last outing against West Ham after three without a win; in those four games Chelsea scored 11 goals while conceding none (including that 4-0 hammering of Manchester United). Everton are a decent side but they won’t be a match for Chelsea.

Picks?

Chelsea players from all positions.
