Leicester City vs West Ham Preview

Leicester City will be hoping to play the West Ham team which barely turned up in their FA Cup defeat to Manchester United during the week although one would imagine Slaven Bilic will make sure that doesn’t happen. The story is still on for the home team and this is another opportunity to retain their large advantage at the top of the league. The Foxes have won six of the last seven at home, conceding just two goals and keeping five clean sheets. For their part, West Ham are unbeaten in five on the road and if their best players turn up, this could be a very tight game.

Form All Games Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Leicester (home)  WWDWW  1.62  0.94
West Ham (away)  DDWWD  1.56  1.31

Picks?

We have a sneaky feeling this could be a goalless draw as West Ham dominate midfield and Leicester provide their custom speedy counter-attacking. Go for defenders or midfielders but perhaps not strikers.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Preview

Arsenal have blown hot and cold in recent games and although this should be a regulation home win it’s always difficult to tell. Arsenal may be back on form after their 4-0 win against Watford and an exciting 3-3 away at West Ham so we think they’ll do the job here with plenty of goals thrown in. Crystal Palace look to be clear of relegation after three games without defeat but they’ll still be fighting for their lives here and this won’t be easy for the hosts.

Form All Games Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Arsenal (home)  WLLLD  1.53 0.67
Crystal Palace (away)  DWDLW  1.20  1.33

Picks?

We would fancy anyone from Arsenal, especially midfielders and strikers and no-one from Palace. That’s it.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool Preview

Bournemouth have struggled at home this season against some of the stronger teams and this week they face Liverpool who’ve lost just one of the last six away from home. The Cherries are unpredictable at Dean Court but haven’t drawn there for eight straight games – they can score three as easily as they can score zero. Liverpool will be confident of a win here and the first goal is vitally important.

Form All Games Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Bournemouth (home)  WWWDD  2.62  0.77
Liverpool (away)  WWLWW  3.40  1.30

Picks?

We fancy an away win on Sunday but we would also avoid defenders from both teams just in case; go for attacking players such as Divock Origi, Dean Sturridge and Paulo Coutinho.
