Manchester City vs Paris St. Germain Preview

It’s 2-2 after an exciting first leg and these two mega-rich teams no lock horns once again at the City of Manchester Stadium. The bookies can’t decide who’s going to win this game but we can be pretty confident that there’ll be plenty of goals. PSG must score to have a chance of progressing and they have the irrepressible Zlatan Ibrahimovic just for that purpose. City are not a team used to playing on the break at home but they may have to change tactics for what should be a great matc

Form Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Man City (home)  WLDWL  2.41 1.12
PSG (away stats) WWWWL  2.24 0.35

Picks?

It’s all about goals and assists in this match but the brave may fancy one of the goalkeepers, both of whom should be making plenty of saves. We particularly like Ibrahimovic and Angel Di Maria for PSG and Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri and Kevin de Bruyne from City; de Bruyne was rested for the game against West Brom last weekend.

Real Madrid vs VfL Wolfsburg Preview

Probably the most unexpected result from the first leg was Wolfsburg’s 2-0 win over Real Madrid; to proceed through to the semis, Wolfsburg will have to play at least as well and hope that Real Madrid are below par again. We should definitely see some goals at the Bernabeu and we’re inclined to think that Real will come out on top in the end. The Spaniards have scored 17 goals in their last four home games, conceding just one.

Form Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Real Madrid (home)  WWWWL  3.76 0.82
VfL Wolfsburg (away stats) LLWDW  0.79 1.71

Picks?

Real Madrid defenders are our priority here but we’d like midfielders and strikers as well; it’s difficult to see Wolfsburg getting out of their own half much so avoid theses players if possible – Wolfsburg struggle for goals on the road and tend to concede fairly easily.
