Montreal Impact vs Orlando City SC Preview
There’s a mid-table clash on Wednesday evening in Montreal as the Impact host Orlando City and this is a game between two sides in distinctly average form. Montreal’s home form is poor when you consider the strength of home teams in the MLS – they are without a win in two and have only scored two goals in the last three. Up against Montreal are Orlando City, the draw specialists away from home with four ties in the last four trips – three 2-2s and a recent goalless stalemate at Colorado.
This doesn’t look like a game for the purists or those who like to see a goal or two; we’re inclined towards a low-scoring draw so defenders from both sides will be the pick from this fixture.
Real Salt Lake vs LA Galaxy Preview
This is the more attractive of the matches on Wednesday evening and it pits two Western Conference team against each other – 2nd placed Real Salt Lake host 4th placed LA Galaxy at the Rio Tinto Stadium. Real are on a run which has seen them unbeaten at home all season and they’ve won the last three on the trot. LA Galaxy suffer the same travelling woes as every other MLS team and are without a win in three away from the Stubhub Centre but they have only lost once in six on the road which proves they can be tough to beat.
This looks like a game with goals so go for midfielders and strikers from both teams – avoid defenders unless completely necessary.
