Crystal Palace vs Chelsea Preview

Crystal Palace were perhaps a touch unlucky to lose in the last minute to Manchester United in midweek and the games don’t get any easier with the visit if Chelsea on Saturday. The stats are clear – Palace have lost seven of the last nine and Chelsea are top of the league with ten wins in a row. Chelsea will be too good for Palace and this looks like an away win and a clean sheet.

Middlesbrough vs Swansea City Preview

These two sides may well be battling relegation for most of the season but this is Boro’s chance to grab a vital three points against a Swansea team who have improved slightly under the new manager but are still in the relegation zone and prone to conceding goals. Boro have not scored in two games but we feel there could be goals here in an all-out attacking display.

Stoke City vs Leicester City Preview

This is a mid-table clash between two teams who will have been hoping for better things this season; Stoke have certainly improved after a very poor start while Leicester followed up an impressive win against Manchester City with a narrow defeat away at Bournemouth. We fancy Stoke for a narrow win here also but it’s a tricky one to call.

There are points scorers here such as Riyad Mahrez and Joe Allen but it may be better to avoid players from this fixture.

Sunderland vs Watford Preview

Sunderland are rock bottom of the Premier League with three defeats from the last four and on Saturday they face a Watford team who are up in mid-table but with an equally bad recent record. It’s been nine games without a draw for Sunderland and seven for Watford and there should be some goals in this match for both teams.

West Ham vs Hull City Preview

West Ham are yet to kick-start their season but they have been better at home in recent games and this match against second-from-bottom Hull City is another opportunity to garb three more vital points. The Hammers beat Burnley 1-0 in the week and that was a solid, if narrow win against the Lancastrians – this should be another clean sheet and another home win.

West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United Preview

This should be an interesting match between teams in form but unlikely to make a title challenge; United were a little lucky to earn all three points at Crystal Palace in midweek while West Brom have won four from six, their only defeat being to Chelsea. United are strong favourites for the win but this could be a closer result than those prices suggest.
