Bournemouth vs Tottenham Preview
The early match on Saturday sees Bournemouth host Spurs at Dean Court and the home side are on a three game unbeaten run including a 6-1 hammering of Hull City in their last outing. Spurs will be a different kettle of fish of course although they were held to a 1-1 draw at West Brom last weekend. We’re going with the percentages here and an away win but the Cherries could score.
Spurs midfielders and strikers.
Arsenal vs Middlesbrough Preview
Arsenal are on a six game winning run in the Premier League and they also put six unanswered goals past Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Boro will come looking for a point but it’s going to be hard to avoid defeat, especially after earning just two points from their last six games. Homer all the way.
Arsenal players from all positions.
Burnley vs Everton Preview
Burnley are fighting hard to stay out of the relegation zone and they will be looking to pick up another point against Everton at Turfmoor on Saturday afternoon. The Clarets have suffered two straight defeats but Everton are without a win in three so this is not an easy result to predict – we fancy a low-scoring draw or narrow away win.
Steer clear of this fixture – there are loads of other options.
Hull City vs Stoke City Preview
This match has the potential to be a grim encounter near the foot of the table; Hull have one point from six games and host a Stoke team with six points from eight games. Stoke however may be slowly turning the corner – unbeaten in three and with a win against Sunderland last time out; we fancy an narrow away win to add to Hull’s misery.
Don’t pick any players from this fixture unless you need some cheap options.
Leicester City vs Crystal Palace Preview
Can Leicester City finally transfer their Champions League performance into a Premier league win? Well they have another decent chance on Saturday against a decent Crystal Palace side who were on a good run until their defeat at home to West Ham last weekend. Leicester are strong favourites for the win but we’re not convinced enough to pick many players from this fixture.
Avoid players from this fixture.
Swansea City vs Watford Preview
Swansea City have gained just one point from the last seven Premier League games and that’s seen them second from bottom of the table after eight games; they desperately need a win under new boss Bob Bradley; they played well at Arsenal despite losing and should be well up for this match against mid-table Watford. The Hornets have been good in patches so far but we can’t see them winning on Saturday – a draw is the more likely result.
Pick up cheap players from this fixture if you need them.
West Ham vs Sunderland Preview
West Ham finally earned a much-needed win away at Crystal Palace last weekend and those three points moved them one point clear of the relegation zone. They have an excellent chance of another three points when they host bottom-of-the-table Sunderland at the Olympic Stadium, a team with just two points earned so far. This is surely a home win for the Hammers.
Players from all positions from West Ham.
Liverpool vs West Bromwich Albion
Liverpool may have been slightly disappointed with their failure to beat Manchester United on Monday evening but they have an instant chance for another three points as West Brom visit Anfield on Saturday; the Baggies don’t have the players to stall the Reds in the way that Jose Mourinho’s side managed and this should be a regulation win for the Liverpool.
