Chelsea vs Burnley Preview

Chelsea have won all three competitive matches under Antonio Conte so far this season and we fully expect them to continue that run against a Burnley side who somehow managed a 2-0 win against Liverpool with just 19% possession. That win may have been more down to Liverpool than Burnley and this should be a regulation home win for the Blues.

Go for Chelsea players from all positions, avoid Burnley players.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth Preview

These two teams currently occupy the positions at the bottom of the league with zero wins between them although the Cherries have only played one match so far. Both teams need to get this season moving quickly and the bookies think that Crystal Palace will emerge the victors from this one. We’re not sure enough of the result to recommend any particular players though.

Avoid selecting from this match unless absolutely necessary.

Everton vs Stoke City Preview

Everton have looked good in the two Premier League games they’ve played so far this season and have four points to show for their performances; for us they are strong favourites going in to this match with a Stoke side who’ve managed one point from two games.

We like the look of an Everton win and a clean sheet so Toffees defenders in particular will on our team sheet.

Leicester City vs Swansea City Preview

Leicester City were poor in their opening day defeat at Hull and better but scoreless in the next game against Arsenal so can they improve once more and beat Swansea? The bookies have them as odds-on favourites and we also expect them to win against a Swans side who lost away at Hull last weekend.

Leicester’s defence looked excellent against Arsenal and we think there’ll be another clean sheet here so pick accordingly – avoid Swansea players.

Watford vs Arsenal Preview

Arsenal have just one point from their two games so far, showing themselves capable of scoring against Liverpool but failing to hit the net against Leicester. Watford also have won point from an opening day draw at Southampton but this game is surely Arsenal’s time to get their first set of three points.

We’re confident of an Arsenal win but will probably dodge any players from this encounter unless it becomes necessary

Southampton vs Sunderland Preview

Southampton go into this game with one point but Sunderland have none so far from two games and this is surely the Saints’ opportunity to get their season started. Sunderland are still in some turmoil and understaffed following the departure of Sam Allardyce and although Southampton have only one point, they haven’t played too badly.

Feel free to pick Saints’ players from any position but steer clear of Sunderland staff.

Hull City vs Manchester United Preview

Manchester United many not have played any of the top teams yet but all they can do is win the next game and that’s what they should manage against a hardworking but fairly limited Hull City side who’ve won both their games so far but may find this a step too far.

Go for Manchester United players from all positions and particularly Ibrahimovic if you can afford him.
