Middlesbrough vs Watford Preview
This may not be a fixture to get the pulses of neutrals racing but we need to make some choices because there’s only two games today in the Premier league. Boro have lost three and drawn one of their last four games while Watford have shown promise but are still inconsistent.
Picks?
This is a tough one to call and we’re inclined to go for the best points scorers in midfield from either side.
Southampton vs Burnley Preview
This looks like a more straightforward prediction as Burnley make the long trip to the south coast to face a Southampton side in tenth place and with a pretty solid home record – three wins and two draws and from the last five games. Burnley have suffered two 3-0 defeats in their last two trips and are yet to score on the road so we expect a clean sheet and a home win here.
Picks?
Pick Southampton players from all positions and avoid those from Burnley.
