Sunderland vs Arsenal Preview
Arsenal can’t quite get themselves up to full steam at the moment but they’re pretty safe in a Champions League spot at the moment and just about in touching distance of second place should Spurs slip up at all. They are unbeaten in six but on Sunday they face a Sunderland side fighting for their Premier League lives and with just one defeat in six. A 3-0 win at Norwich in their last game will have given them some real confidence approaching this fixture.
Form All Games Last 5 | Average Goals Scored | Average Goals Conceded
Sunderland (home) | LDDWL | 1.06 | 1.12 |
Arsenal (away) | DWLWD | 1.88 | 1.35 |
Picks?
Arsenal will dominate the ball in this match and they will almost certainly score at least once – go for Arsenal midfielders and strikers. However Sunderland should also be capable of scoring against a Gunners team who leak goals on the road so Jermain Defoe is always a good option.
Leicester City vs Swansea City Preview
This is a massive game for Leicester and a win will ease any nerves which may have gathered since their draw against West Ham last weekend. They will be without Jamie Vardy which is clearly a concern and this may mean a change in style to accommodate a striker who is not quite so lightning fast. The Foxes are undefeated in seven at home having won five of those games and face a Swansea team with just one away win in six games. They’ve conceded eight in their last three trips and were thrashed 3-0 at Newcastle last weekend.
Form All Games Last 5 | Average Goals Scored | Average Goals Conceded
Leicester City (home) | DWWDW | 1.65 | 1.00 |
Swansea City (away) | LDLWL | 1.06 | 1.59 |
Picks?
Leicester are quite fortunate in that they’re playing a Swansea team with nothing to play for and we’re going for a Foxes win and a clean sheet to boot. It might be nervy but we think they’ll get there against a tired Swansea side. Go for Leicester players in any position but from Swansea Gylfi Sigurdsson should see plenty of the ball in midfield.
