Goalkeeper Player Team Salary

France vs Republic of Ireland Preview

France should be quite happy with this draw and although we expect the Irish to put up a very spirited fight, this looks like a win to zero for a team with two wins, a draw and just one goal concede so far. The French have always reasonably comfortable in their games although the 0-0 against the Swiss will have been a bit of a downer. The Irish are a little limited in attacking options and the French should be able to deal with any danger.

Form All Games Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
France  DWWWW 1.33 0.33
ROI  WLDLD 0.67 1.33

We’ll be selecting French players from all positions in expectation of a win and a clean sheet.

Germany vs Slovakia Preview

The Germans should be equally pleased with this knockout match against Slovakia; they will have seen how England totally dominated possession against the Slovaks but should also be able to add the finishing touches which eluded the English in the 0–0 draw. We expect a clean sheet for the Germans and they are yet to concede any goals.

Form All Games Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Germany WDWWL 1 0
Slovakia DWLDL 1 1

Go for German players from any position but avoid the Slovakians.

Hungary vs Belgium Preview

On the surface this looks like a Belgium win against an unfancied Hungary side and the bookies tend to agree with that assessment, making the Belgians odds-on favourites for the win. The Hungarians 3-3 draw with Portugal raise their goal scoring average to 2 per game so there’s certainly a goal threat there from a variety of players and although the Belgians will dominate possession they will need to be wary of the counter attack.

Form All Games Last 5  Average Goals Scored  Average Goals Conceded
Hungary DDWLD 2 1.33
Belgium  WWLWD 1.33 0.67

We like the look of midfielders and strikers from Belgium but a Hungarian striker might not go amiss if you need a cheap player.
