Poland vs Portugal Preview
Poland have been surprisingly durable opponents so far in this tournament with games notable for their lack of goals, in particular a nil nil with Germany in the group stages. Excluding penalties, they’ve only scored three goals so far but they’ve also only conceded two. Portugal haven’t really got going yet but they did manage to scrape past a classy Croatia team in the last game and Ronaldo finally showed some glimpses of his quality – although not enough. This promises to be a tight match with perhaps the scored level at full time.
Form All Games Last 5 | Average Goals Scored | Average Goals Conceded
Poland | WWDWD | 0.75 | 0.25 |
Portugal | WDDDW | 1.25 | 1.00 |
Picks?
We’ll be happy with defenders from either team but don’t forget Ronaldo and Lewandowski up front.
Wales vs Belgium Preview
Can the dream continue for the Welsh? It’s possible but it seems unlikely given Belgium’s comprehensive 4-0 win over Hungary in their last game. Since their opening 2-0 defeat to Italy the Belgians have kept three clean sheets and scored eight goals and they are improving in every game. The Welsh might have plenty of spirit but with only two world class players in bale and Ramsey this looks like a tough prospect.
Form All Games Last 5 | Average Goals Scored | Average Goals Conceded
England | DWDWW | 1 | 0.67 |
Iceland | WDDWL | 1.33 | 1 |
Picks?
We fancy a Belgian win but a hard fought match and possibly one goal for Wales; Choose Belgians from any position and Bale/Ramsey if you have the funds.
