  • Manchester City vs Sunderland
  • Spurs vs Norwich
  • Newcastle United vs Everton

Our Pick

Goalkeeper Joe Hart Manchester City £6.8m
Defender Aleksander Kolarov Manchester City £8.7m
Defender Kyle Walker Spurs £9.6m
Defender Federico Fernandez Swansea £8.8m
Midfielder Fernandinho Manchester City £6.0m
Midfielder Riyad Mahrez Leicester City £12.5m
Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate West Ham £7.2m
Midfielder Andre Ayew Swansea £9.8m
Forward Harry Kane Spurs £12.5m
Forward Bafetimbi Gomis Swansea £6.5m
Forward Raheem Sterling Manchester City £8.8m
Total Price – £99,900,000

Manchester City look like the banker on Boxing Day with a home match against struggling Sunderland so we’ve picked a spine of city players who should all collect some points – Joe Hart in goal, Aleksander Kolarov in defence, Fernandinho in midfield and Raheem Sterling leading the line.

Spurs vs Norwich looks like another home win to us so we’ve gone for the high-scoring Kyle Walker in defence plus the equally prolific Harry Kane up front. Swansea’s Frederico Fernandez completes the defence (against a poor West Brom side) while Bafetimbi Gomis is something of a cheap punt in attack although we expect the Swans to score.

Our ever-present Riyad Mahrez cost us the big bucks in midfield but Leicester’s tie at Anfield looks tricky so he’s the Foxes only name on our team sheet this week. Swansea’s Andre Ayew and Cheikhou Kouyate from West Ham complete the midfield.
