Every day we bring you what we think are some sensible selection options based on today’s upcoming matches; we’re not going to promise that these are guaranteed winners because if we could do that we’d all be millionaires by now. These players are all solid picks based on recent stats and their next opponents so check them out.

Overview
We expect West Hams and Spurs to win their matches and we’ve also got a feeling that an improving Chelsea side may be too strong for a shaky Manchester City outfit who surely need to concentrate on the league, whatever Manuel Pellegrini says.
Defence
Spurs ‘keeper Hugo Lloris is a our choice between the sticks and he’s behind teammate Toby Alderweireld; Spurs are generally strong in defence and may well keep a clean sheet against a Crystal Palace team in patchy form. West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna and Chelsea’s Gary Cahill make up the back four numbers.
Midfield
Our midfield consists of four high-quality players from different teams – Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea), Yaya Toure (Man City), Dmitri Payet (West Ham) and Dele Alli (Spurs). Surely there’s some points in there?
Forwards
We’ve picked two Cheap Charlies up front in Nikica Jelavic (West Ham) and Pedro (Chelsea) but both are in decent form; Harry Kane (Spurs) should grab his usual haul of points.
