Every day we bring you what we think are some sensible selection options based on today’s upcoming matches; we’re not going to promise that these are guaranteed winners because if we could do that we’d all be millionaires by now. These players are all solid picks based on recent stats and their next opponents so check them out.

So many matches and so many options so we’ve taken something of a scattergun approach to player selection this evening. Spurs provide the spine of the team and the north Londoner’s have already qualified for the next round; they face Monaco who have nothing to play for so we should see a clean sheet and some goals.
Tottenham aside we’ve tried to pick players from the best performing teams in matches against those who have nothing to play for; we feel that luck could have a significant influence this evening depending on the sides picked by the respective managers and whether certain players will be rested for dead rubbers.
