Every day we bring you what we think are some sensible selection options based on today’s upcoming matches; we’re not going to promise that these are guaranteed winners because if we could do that we’d all be millionaires by now. There’s very little happening in the English leagues on Friday evening but fortunately in mainland Europe there’s three matches to pick from in Mondogoal’s Global Freeroll.

  • Bordeaux vs Nice
  • Levante vs Getafe
  • Bologna vs Juventus

Here’s Our Pick:

Goalkeeper Vicente Guaita Getafe £5.1m
Defender Patrice Evra Juventus £7.9m
Defender Lucas Orban Levante £6.2m
Defender Cedric Yambere Bordeaux £8.3m
Midfielder Juan Cuadrado Juventus £11.2m
Midfielder Jaroslav Plasil Bordeaux £8.2m
Midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa Nice £9.2m
Midfielder Paul Pogba Juventus £12.2m
Forward Paulo Dybala Juventus £14.0m
Forward Cheick Diabete Bordeaux £8.4m
Forward Mattio Destro Bologna £7.5m

Three different leagues and three matches on offer – Juventus look a good bet for a win at Bologna; Juve have won 13 games on the trot in all competitions and are top of Serie A. Mid-table Bordeaux certainly have a chance against a Nice team in third place but in patchy form while Levante vs Getafe is a match between two teams in terrible form.

We’re hoping for a dismal nil-nil draw between Levante and Getafe and so have taken a cheap but risky punt on Getafe’s ‘keeper Vicente Guaita and Levante’s Lucas Orban. They are alongside more established points-scorers Patrice Evra and Cedric Yambere from Juventus and Bordeaux respectively.

Two Juventus superstars – Paul Pogba and Juan Cuadrado – form the basis of our midfield alongside Bordeaux’s Jaroslav Plasil and Nice’s Hatem Ben Arfa,

Clearly we need a Juventus striker and Paulo Dybala is in good form at the moment; we’ve taken something of a chance on two players from the French game in Cheick Diabete from Bordeaux and Mattio Destro from Bologna.
