There’s £10,000 guaranteed pot for Mondogoal’s Wednesday Shootout and it’s just a tenner to enter. Everyone down to 250th place will get their stake money back at least so why not give it a go? There are seven Premier League matches to pick from this evening:

  • Chelsea vs West Brom
  • Stoke City vs Norwich
  • Southampton vs Watford
  • Liverpool vs Arsenal
  • Manchester City vs Everton
  • Swansea City vs Sunderland
  • Spurs vs Leicester City

Our Pick (3-4-3)

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois Chelsea £8.7m
Defender Branislav Ivanovic Chelsea £8.5m
Defender Glen Johnson Stoke City £8.2m
Defender Erik Pieters Stoke City £8.8m
Midfielder Willian Chelsea £7.1m
Midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri Stoke City £7.0m
Midfielder Aaron Ramsey Arsenal £11.6m
Midfielder Adam Lallana Liverpool £7.9m
Forward Diego Costa Chelsea £7.4m
Forward Marko Arnautovic Stoke City £6.9m
Forward Sergio Aguero Manchester City £11.8m
Total Price – £99,400,000

As far as we’re concerned there are two strong candidates for clean sheets tonight – Chelsea at home to West Brom and Stoke City hosting Norwich City. These should also be wins for the home teams hence our defence is populated with Thibaut Courtois and Branislav Ivanovic from Chelsea along with Glen Johnson and Erik Pieters from Stoke.

Chelsea’s Willian and Stoke’s Xherdan Shaqiri make up half of our midfield four and they are joined by Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal and Adam Lallana from Liverpool. Ramsey is a consistent scorer and we’re taking a punt on Lallana who will surely grab a hatful of points soon.

Again we’ve stuck with Diego Costa (Chelsea) and Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City) up front and they are complemented by Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero who we preferred over Raheem Sterling for tonights game against Everton.
